BISS GCH MonTai Speakeasy Soirée

“Gatsby”

This boy is very special to us. Gatsby finished at 10 months of age with 2 5 point majors and a major from going Best of Breed from the classes over a special to finish his championship. That same day, he made a nice cut in a very competitive, large regular toy group. A week later, he went on to win a Best in Show Owner Handled! At 17 months of age he won his first Specialty during the National weekend and a regular toy group first. He is growing on beautifully and we are so excited to continue watching him blossom. He has excellent heavy bone and so much glamour. We have a blast in the ring with him and look forward to seeing all that he can achieve and produce for us here at MonTai.

BIS RBIS GCHB MonTai Sleight of Hand

“Rio”

Rio is such an amazing puppy and is the product of a breeding that we so anxiously waited for. He was born here at MonTai during the pandemic and did not get out in the ring until he was about 8 months old. He won the sweepstakes at the Pekingese Club of America National Specialty along with winning several other sweeps at the other specialties. He is well balanced, has nice bone, deep chest, is low to the ground and has the most beautiful under jaw with upturn that we are losing in this breed. At just 3 years old, he won his first all breed Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show. He has sired a beautiful litter of puppies for us so far and we look forward to many more successes with him.

CH Cardee’s American Patriot

“Boston”

Boston was entrusted to us by our friend and mentor Sheri Martinez who was very close friends with his breeder, Carol Dee Blakesley of Cardee Pekingese, after she passed away last year. We were warned that Carol was not able to put any points on him because he was not a showman, but we worked with Boston diligently and he finally finished his CH! He is deserving of this as he has incredible structure and the perfect, lustrous Pekingese eyes. We hope that he produces those attributes for us.

Aslan Jay. Eff. Kay.

“Kennedy”

Ken is our wild child. We are so lucky to have been entrusted with him in our breeding program by his breeders and co-owners Lori and Mark Stephen (Aslan Pekingese). He is a sound puppy with great balance and bone. His head is to die for. Large and wide and will continue spreading as he matures. He currently has a 5 point major towards his AKC championship. He is cousin to Drama adn Extra on our “Girls” page. We look forward to see all that is to come with this boy!
